In 2022, Get Excited for These 3 Golf Experiences

The new year is finally upon us, and with a new year comes new opportunities to try new things, adopt new habits, and create new memories.

To help aid in this, we have scoured the world of golf and made our list of three things golfers can look forward to in 2022, either as somewhere to have a new experience, or an opportunity to create new memories.

The 150th Open In 2022

The 2022 Open has been set in date and location, and is an essential event that every golfer should have pencilled into their calendar. The 150th Open has been set to be held at the Old Course at St Andrews Links, Scotland, with the date set for the 10th – 17th July.

For those who make a routine of watching the Open every year, use this year as an opportunity to invite loved ones into your hobby. In 2022, why not involve your friends or family, and make it a special event- something collective to experience together. Joint memories with loved ones are some of the most precious memories we are given, and will only be more memorable if partnered with the sport you love.

And for those who know someone who enjoys the Open? Get involved with them. A passion or a hobby can become so much more impactful when shared with a loved one, and if given the opportunity to bring someone that sort of happiness, why wouldn’t you?

GLOBALLS Brighton Aquatica Course

While technically opened in December of 2021, GLOBALLS newest course, Aquatica, is now officially open to be played and explored by the general public. Decorated with bright neons, creative decor, and a magical underwater theme, this aquatic dreamland of an indoor golf course unlike any other. As a newly opened spot, it is certainly worth checking out.

In 2022, GLOBALLS is set to be having its biggest year yet, and for those looking for a spot to try some wholly unique indoor golf this year, this is the place to go.

Cabot St. Lucia

Many tropical islands across the world are home to some of the most luxurious golfing getaways imaginable. From the glorious beaches of Mauritius to the festive landscape of Iceland, there is a golf experience out there for everyone, tailored perfectly to you.

So, it should come as no surprise that the beautiful caribbean island of St. Lucia is due to receive a new luxury golf course in 2022, according to a report by golf.com.

According to the report, the course is set to be being designed along St. Lucia’s coastline, and is said to be being developed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, designers behind the Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links in Nova Scotia. If this is to be believed, this course is certain to be breathtaking- a task that should not be overly challenging to achieve, when considering the mesmerising canvas that St. Lucia has to offer.

Providing that COVID-19 causes no further travel restrictions to us in 2022, a trip to this brand-new location upon its grand opening would certainly make for a memorable moment. Travel alone, or travel with loved ones or business, and be prepared for a golfing experience that no one else has seen before- quite literally.

Keep an eye on continuing developments, and all going well, a trip to St. Lucia might just be on the cards for you in 2022.
